Um die Objektivität auf Audiohq zu wahren soll nicht unerwähnt bleiben, dass der Satz,

auf Hydrogenaudio zu Recht kritisiert wurde!
"Crystal clear" bei jeder Bitrate.
Hat jemand Hörtests bei 16kbps gemacht und kann die "clarity" bestätigen?

"Quality tuning for some bitrates"
"Getunt" wurde HE AAC (also low bitrates) zwischen 56 und 72kbps.
Eure Erfahrung mit dieser neuen Version würde mich interessieren.

]]>Ich habe ihn einmal getestet und Hölle ist der lahm! Da ist Lame 3 mal schneller bei einer gleichen Datei. Kann natürlich sehr gut sein, dass die Nicht-SSE2-Version einfach noch nicht optimiert ist. Ich bin mal gespannt.
Bei mir läft der Encoder mit zu lame vergleichbaren Einstellungen (q0.4 vs. "-V5 --vbr-new") ca. halb so schnell wie lame (6,5x statt 13x).
Im SRB Modus (q0.25) ist der Nero AAC Encoder allerdings etwas schneller (9x) und im SBR+PS Modus (q.015) legt er mit 16x realtime richtig los (alles auf AMD Athlon XP 1800+).
Liegt laut Entwicklern daran, dass der LC Teil im SBR Modus mit 22khz arbeitet und im SBR+PS Modus zusätzlich noch in Mono was jeweils Rechenzeit spart.
